Main English hop developed late 19th century. Considered by some to be less refined than Goldings, others prefer its juicier, more woody character. (Typical Analysis — Alpha acid: 4 – 5.5%) Also referred to as Fuggles.
(Please note that the typical analysis reflects the average alpha and beta values according to our hop growers/suppliers. Actual values can vary from one batch lot to the next. We provide these values for reference only. If bitterness is critical to your particular recipe we suggest that you order slightly more hops than your recipe calls for (to overcome any potential variance in the actual bitterness of our current batch lot). Alternatively, feel free to contact us by phone or e-mail to determine the exact alpha acid values for the hops you intend to order.)
