Made in Italy by Ferrari Group, it is a very durable, smooth operating hand capper. The unique patented design has a gear driven head that requires less force to seal the cap. It is lighter than metal cappers and has wider handles making it easier to operate. A built in spring allows the capping mechanism to automatically retract when capping is completed. The built-in magnet allows the cap to be held in the bell when beginning the capping procedure. The metal blades, that position the capper on the bottle, can be reversed to allow the use of 29mm caps (part# CAPEU) for some European bottles . This will also require purchasing a 29mm bell (part# L17550).
